Knaut-Rhuland House Museum

The Knaut Rhuland House Museum opens the door to Lunenburg life and culture during during the early founding years, 1753-1853. Costumed guides will take you on a tour through the circa 1793 home, much of which remains in it's original condition and explain why we have been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Exhibits include a Costume Gallery, a Spiritual Heritage display, a Victorian Room, weaving and spinning displays and demonstrations and a beautiful garden where you can take a minute and smell the flowers. The museum is owned by the Lunenburg Heritage Society and admission is free of charge though we are grateful for donations that assist in ongoing restorations and day to day operations.
