About Allan Cooper: Allan Cooper has published over a dozen books of poetry, most recently The Deer Yard (with Harry Thurston) and The Alma Elegies. He has twice won the Alfred G. Bailey Award for poetry. He is the founder of Owl’s Head Press and has been the editor of the intermittently-published literary journal Germination since 1982. Cooper is also a songwriter and performer. He divides his time between Riverview and Alma, NB.
About Troy Jollimore: Troy Jollimore is the author of three books of poems: Tom Thomson in Purgatory (2006), At Lake Scugog (2011), and Syllabus of Errors (2015). Tom Thomson in Purgatory won the National Book Critics Circle Award, and Syllabus of Errors was named by the New York Times as one of the ten best poetry books of 2015. As a philosopher he has authored On Loyalty and Love’s Vision. He has published poems in the New Yorker, McSweeney’s, Poetry, The Believer, and elsewhere, and his reviews and literary prose have been published widely. He has been the recipient of fellowships from the Stanford Humanities Center, the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, and the Guggenheim Foundation.
